Hacienda Guachepilin
The most popular and closest single track is at Hacienda Guachepilin. Hacienda Guachepilin is on the flank of the active volcano, Rincon de la Vieja and is a ranch. The trail system extend up to 35 km long meandering through forest and ranch land.
The trail takes you up a low grade, no more than 3 per cent, for about 5 km. With a river just beside the trail we can dip in to cool us down for the uphill. Our ascent will end at the Hacienda cafeteria on the edge of the national park. After a short rest we will take a 10 minute walk to a stunning waterfall named Oropendula. Here very refreshing swim awaits for you or jump off the cliff into the fall.
Back to our bikes and off we go on a 7km ride down.
This 13 km is single track loop suitable for all level or riders. For beginners, it is a great introduction to single track and comes with coaching.
For intermediate and advanced you can ride it as you wish and have a blast.
This day provides not only fun riding but also beautiful forest, rivers and a stunning water fall. Monkeys and interesting birds can also be seen.
Our lunch will be at the restaurant bar and is not included.
You can expect to spend anywhere from 7 to 20 dollars.

Other single track trips are available, contact
